Wow...this is awesome, hilarious, etcetera. You get the idea. I only have a problem with your apostrophe abuse; you don't need the ones in Its' or It's unless you are using a contraction of It is. Very amusing, and great work in regard to keeping them in character. I also liked how you wrote the story in the manner of looking back on it. *Laughs* "Every Dog Has Its Day"... nice pun, there, as well as "And Edward Elric became known for being the shortest reigning leader of Amestris in history thus far..." I wonder, though, if Ed could have fixed the issue with Ling on his own, somehow... All in all, very well done!
