This was great! It reminded me of a time when I was a kid and got left behind at a park where the family was having a picnic--a reunion kind of thing, where there were dozens of adults and kids. Everybody thought I was in somebody else's car and didn't miss me until they got where they were going. I remember what dean would have been feeling! As always, I love the "family" dynamic.

I love it! This story is definitely my favorite one of yours so far. I felt so bad for Dean when he found out his family forgot about him. Can't wait to read your next story.

Ok. So this keeps going back to that, and the earliest stories don’t relate to it. When did they decide Dean, Sam and Caleb were going to be the future triad? And who decided it? And why? At these ages, wasn’t it a little too early to decide? Or is it some sort of nepotism? I get that they grew into the roles without even knowing it (except Caleb, who knew), but how could the Triad know that early? Oh, and as far as this story goes? More!

That's it I'm firing myself. I read this last night and thought I had left feedback but apparently I was delusional. This was a great ending but a little sad because yea they did forget Dean maybe not intentionally and definitley not with malice but hasn't he been forgotten or pushed to the side enough? Sometimes you just want to holler and rail about how damn easy it seems for him to be overlooked. Loved the story. Hope you gals are having fun on your vacation.

I just want to say again how much I love all stories involving the Brotherhood and especially Ridley's version of Caleb.
Wonderful story, fluffy and angsty with some hurt Dean action, my favorite kind!
Poor Dean, sacrificing his future and he thinks everybody forgot about him, I'm glad it was Sammy who remembered him.

Hi there (shyly waves) I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE Dean Winchester! So I have been reading the Brotherhood stories because a friend of mine recommended them. She calls them the Dean series, and after reading some by you and Ridley I gotta ask. Pretty please? Can ya stop hurting him so much and let him kick some butt for a change! I do like reading hurt!Dean but I also like seeing kick-** hero!Dean too, cause he is just so damn hot and makes the absolute die-hardest best hero ever! I am starting to feel so bad for him that he keeps needing to be saved in both yours and Tidia's Brotherhood stories, and then when he does something stupid (like don't even get me started about that one where he got hurt by the black dog), I really cringe cause I think he is the best hunter, and even when he is worried about Sam, Dean is just too smart to keep making mistakes that get himself badly hurt. Sure sometimes he'd get nailed (ooh didn't that just sound nasty), but come on ladies, this is DEAN we are talking and lusting after!

I would LOVE to see a story where Dean AND Caleb come in, guns blazing, to the rescue. I have not seen that in any story yet. And wow. That would truely be something to see. (cold shivers at that image)!
