That's really well done. Good thinking. It's short, yes, but it shouldn't be any longer. It's delightfully simple, and it sounds like Booth. I like how you ended it with the quote from the show - it was really the perfect ending.

It makes me sad that later on she WOULD have to kill someone to save Booth.
