Very nice update! I love it when Mugen hates himself.

The deffering to the ghost of her dead mother is very Shakespearesque. You have a real talent for delicate, introspective story telling.

I love the way Mugen introspectively contrasts himself with Jin, and puts Fuu in the middle as the judge. Very symbolic.

I like the portrayal of Jin as the father figure. Also the metaphore for Mugen being the stray dog that was killed.

The fact that most of this story takes place internally is beautiful. You really portray the characters that's true to the original material.

Good choice to start here at the poit where she has to choose. And excellent use of internal indecisivness as a plot device.

you write such wonderful drabbles. i think the one that stood out most would probably be chimera. funnily enough. i can't wait for more =)

That was one of the best Mugen point of views I have ever read...it sounds exactly like him!!

This is my favorite of all your drabbles--they're all good, but this one's spot-on. I really like how you picked out Mugen's hurt when, after all this time, Fuu still didn't count on him to come through for her (I've always felt that was a real point of pain to him, though of course he'd never show it). Good inner dialogue, good character writing, just a fine piece of work (both parts). Thank you!

Ok, this story is pretty freaking awesome!! And usually, as a rule, I don't read stories with such short "chapters" (I'm kinda like, if it's that short, it can't BE a chapter). But, for this story, these small peeks into the characters minds just WORKS. And I'm soo looking forward to reading more (especially after THIS chapter). So, I hope you update soon!!
