that was beautiful! it was well written. And even though it put the characters in a situation where most author go all OOC, you totally kept them in character! props to you!

That was simply amazing. I am a HUGE fan of azureshipping, and this was well done. It literally had me going "aw!" near the end. I loved how you managed to show Seto as soft and caring (somewhat) yet still having him in character (the line about shoving her words back in her face). You have skill with this ship (is super jealous)

You make a great angst! I just love it! (But admittedly, hated angst...) I was surprised to see Anzu soaking wet in that rain... (Poor Anzie, wow I made a new nickname for her)

Anyway, I like the part when Anzu yelled "God let me die!" and Kaiba slapped her to snapped herself out of it!
Even though, I don't like angst as I've mentioned awhile ago, I like the story and I would really expect that to the Winner from Season One, you won't be easily beaten, huh? pretty good, pretty darn good. Nothing to critique here...it was awesome, not not just awesome super special awesome, in America. I'm assuming you watch littlekuriboh's vids too, i kind of like the ending, although Kaiba doesn't seem like the type to let love slip away, when he wants something he gets it, he can be a complete prick about it, but he lies, blackmails, and strives to get what he wants, he even does illegal things, nothing stands in his way, ya know? Great story, keep up the good work ^_^

Ultra-Depressed-In-The-Rain Anzu. Although she worries a lot and can get depressed (especially over Yami), it was odd.

Having gotten that out of the way, your story was great. I love how you recalled the Duelist Kingdom scene of the life pieces and their values, but then switching the places of Anzu and Kaiba. It was not hard at all to believe Anzu's past words would be fitting encouragement for herself.

I also liked the scene with Kaiba after they seperate. A bit cliche, but it was still touching. Besides, I don't think anyone can really get away from that cliche; it's a common feeling that the one you love will never realize it.

I write long chapters too. For some reason, I find that longer chapters leave less to be left out.

Angsty, but not as much as the Conceit. Sad, but with hope still shining through the rain. XP Poeticness aside, I *loved* this. The detail was awesome, you kept Kaiba in character very well (and for the most part, Anzu. XP Emoness...), and I loved the ending. While Anzu walks away with hope and warmth, Kaiba leaves with chills and a love never to be returned.
