cool story

this story was seriously good and described fantastically. but you seemed to forget that it is really the black and gold dragon of legend thats more powerful as it is gold, and the star class dragon can race equally well on all tracks. the tracks were brill, by the way, you thought of them really well. bad things, kitt was very evil, and she is good friends with arthur. shame you seemed to rush the end.

good things, i love your imagination! the description of everything was..super! and i LOVE the fact that moordryd and kitt fell in love!

I love powerful!Kitt! I like the rage you gave her, though it also seems like she's gone a bit evil; making her powerful is a great tool to destroy the horrible horrible way canon treated her. It's too bad Connor didn't even bother to teach her mag-moves, and it's lovely to see her getting the skills now. (I did an essay on dragon-booster dot livejournal dot com, if you're interested. She's useless for a shocking proportion of the series.) It's very cool to cast the Fire Booster as the most powerful one of them all, and I really wish this was true (I don't think it'll be canon, because red's only one of the five colours). You write fairly well, and you obviously write fast, so both of those are good things.

I thought the Determination of the Dragon was a great idea for an original race, using all twelve colours at once, and the Black Ice gear sounds cool. You have good ideas on your own, and so the borrowings from canon such as the Eye of the Dragon race and the falling-into-lava incident seemed out of place to me-either announce AU and rewrite the series or make it up yourself, because there's a disjunction when you try doing both! The Moordryd/Kitt was also extremely sudden; you'd mostly shown them fighting, and there's scarcely an indication they actually know the other as a person. You could have made more efforts to develop the relationship; maybe they didn't have so much of an issue with each other before Artha came along (though of course Moordryd would have resented her being at the top of the points standings) and you could have flashbacked to less adversarial moments, or...well, just generally spent time establishing the relationship and/or rivalry.

Anyway, I do like this fic. Kitt completely needs powerups, and good on you for giving them to her. All the best for your writing!

Pretty drac story! It's about time Kitt got a bit of credit, what with pig headed Artha and stupid whiny little Lance hogging the spotlight... (mutters obscenities)

Anyway, I usually don't ship with DB, but there's something strangely appealing about Moordryd/Kitt.

nice but are you ever going to introduce the league of eight or not.

So you would think that Artha and Beau would win the race since they have Gold Draconium but it's hard to tell.

And the ending is ironic. Is Moordryd ever going to unleash the league of eight or not.
