I'm so glad John was making little improvements, yet also pleased that you didn't rush it, that he still slipped into nightmares, both sleeping and waking. It makes his recovery that much more satisfying if he's had to fight for it. I loved how his friends were there for him too, always close enough for physical contact to help ground John and just letting the familiar voices wash over him. It was good to see him taking an interest in the games, even if he didn't play them and I particularly liked the part where Ronon gave him the Rummi kub tile to help him sleep after seeing John apparently fascinated with it when they were playing. Elizabeth was good here too, how she felt she was on the outside of things because she wasn't part of the team and hadn't been able to sit with John the whole time. I'm glad Teyla put her straight on that and that Elizabeth was able to help pull John from his vision in the bathroom. I loved the ending with John finally feeling awake and able to join in the game. |
