I believe he probably did. Quiet courage is why I have always like Neville and love. DumDum never understood that to built a man to die you had to give him a reason to die or to live home, family friends, love; these are the reasons a man fights and keeps on fighting long after he should quit. When he has nothing else to give he finds it anyway because they need him to be there.
