This is too awesome! I especially liked this chapter, because you went from the easy bantering, which I love (props for "Mr. Scott from the Pennsylvania branch," hah!) to Company angst, which I think really fit Bennet; he wasn't blindly idealistic his entire career. Great job so far!

I enjoyed reading this story so far. It's interesting to see a take on how Bennet moves from the bright-eyed rookie to the polished veteran seen early in the series. Your characterization of Claude is spot-on (given what we've seen of him in the show). I'm looking forward to reading more.
