Omg, that was an awesome chapter! The more I read, the more un-biased I become about Ukyo. Lmao, I love the hell you put good ole Katsu in. When Shino said that she was pregnant I had the same reaction as him. Lol. Anyway, good chapter. I do have a question, though you might have explained this in earlier chapters (idk...forgot) or maybe in this one. I didn't get any "time" to just sit and read the whole thing through (it was like, on/off), so if I'm retarded I'm sorry: does Ukyo still wear the make up? I think he might not but just making sure. I don't know the next time I'll get Internet access, so I can't re-read chapters and check.

Whoa...man. I've been really out of the whole fanfiction thing lately and I've totally missed a lot. Jeez. Well, this is a pretty sick fic (stupid Californian lingo "sick" - the one that means cool). I have raised my eyebrows a few times, but that's a good thing! ^^ The fic's a nice splash at something new! I do like it! Really. You've convinced me that Ukyo isn't a complete fag. The way the English voice actors put it, anyway.

So to summarize, nice chapter; sorry I haven't read...nor reviewed in a while. School is indeed greatly troublesome. Ugh. Can't wait for the update. See ya soon!

I like how Akemi takes care of business with regards to the transport vehicle. She shows leadership and initiative with Gisaku, but at the same time, I don't get the sense that she's a bossy person with a superiority complex who just walks into Kanna and thinks that she has everything to teach the locals but they have nothing worthwhile to share with her in return.

I've seen some OCs fall into that "I'm so great I get to boss the other characters around! Everyone else exists just to be my inferior or to praise me!" trap which I personally find a turn off, but that's just my highly subjective taste. (I'm actually going to have Ayame take a bossy, obnoxious role in some parts of Mandate of Heaven, but at least that's intentional. And the other characters don't like her or think that she has the right to act that way.)

But so far you've avoided the OC-worship mire despite having a strong key original character. Keep up the good work.

Awsome delivery! I like how Ukyo said 'I stopped worrying about my sister long ago' but he gets all possessive when it came to Kusano; the ideal big brother. It was also amusing when he bet 500 yen over the gender of Sanae's baby, that was funny ^.^ There's high tension an drama buildup and most of all, the characters are all IC.

You might want to consider breaking the dialog into smaller paragraphs to make it easier to read:

E.g.

"Ukyo finished his soda and dropped it into the wastebasket with a sigh. “…I ate, don’t worry. I’m just really tired. How about you all go find dinner? I need a nap.” Kirara left the bed and went to him. “You don’t look fine. Is there something bothering you?” He shook his head."

could be broken into

But that's just my personal preference. (I have a rather short attention span so I tend to like short paras)

Wow...for once that is all I can say...Once again, WOW...Okay I lied that is never all I have to say...This is novel material, it is a vivid colorful, well written MASTERPIECE!

And yes, I agree, Ukyo was a little spineless in S7, but not by a lot, I'm only saying that because he's slick, sneaky, and finds other ways to win battles(like Heihachi). Overall, Ukyo is cool and it's wrong that he is ignored.

Also, I could really see him alive, techncally, he fell off a cliff, that is surviveable, and the battle-scarred image could really suit him.

Overall, it's well written and vivid and it can go a long ways.

P.S.:One question, though who is Akemi(I've only seen the anime, so there are a lot of S7 characters I'm not familiar with, or maybe I forgot...)
