Oh gods, this is just priceless. It's perfect. Totally perfect. The voices are just right for the characters, and I love the interplay between them. You especially managed to nail Joey. He's so perfect through the first few chapters, when he's got the main voice. And even as everything starts leaving the world of funny and entering the world of dark-and-creepy, they all still manage to stay just the same. It's so wonderful. And I loved the bit about the elephant.

I never used to like zombies...and then I saw I am Legend (which this story kind of reminds me of) and started playing Left 4 Dead...all in all, this story is fascinating! I am enjoying the first person style and the disjointed-ness of it very much. Except for a few unfinished sentences in the last two chapters so far, it has been an absolute pleasure to read! Thanks for writing! I look forward to the next update.

One quick thing - there are a couple places in chapters 11 and 12 that cut off mid-sentence; I noted about 2 or 3 in each. Sorry to bug you about it; I just thought you might like a heads-up.

I just stumbled onto this awesome fic and, as usual, completely forgot to check when it was last updated. Still, even though it's probably abandoned I'm going to add this to my favorites just because of it's pure awesomeness. Not only is it pretty unique in a fandom that is filled with more cliches and crazy AUs then you can shake a stick at, but it also holds true to character-plot 'feeling' that got me into this fandom in the first place. I hope to see this continued someday.
