I really enjoyed this chapter, especially Dean's POV.

Poor Lucas...drunk drivers are terrible, and sometimes the worst part of it is that it's something that could be prevented.

I loved this line:

"It had made him want to swear off alcohol for the rest of his life."

I also loved his thought at the end, about how maybe it would have been better for them to die together. It's a wonderful way of showing how Dean feels...and it makes you wonder, does he wish in some ways, that all of them had died in the fire?

Just found this story - please keep going with it! It's a really intriguing idea...I love to see this side of Dean being explored. So angsty! I love his connection with Lucas in DITW. And poor Lucas lost his mother! So sad - but it's genius! Please keep it up!!

I just rewatched the episode last night. (Love that you can watch and rewatch your DVD's) Anyhow, I was excited to read this story line. I think Dean is just an ole softy when it comes to kids, not matter what he says!! Can't wait for the next update.

Wow. I really, really wanna hear more of this. It's just. Great. Really. Nicely written, descriptive yet concise. More please and bravo. :P I loved Lucas (and the side it gave Dean's character the opportunity to show).
