In that first chapter when Ed thought she was dead...wonderfully written.

In the second chapter when they said their goodbyes and he couldn't quite say 'I love you' ...magnificently done. It really was a wonderful story.

This was a really amazing story and I just love WinxEd! I felt so bad for him having to see her 'die' only for it to be Envy >.< I really hope you plan on continuing this or write more! I loved it! Great work!

This... is one of the best Ed/Win's I've ever read. It's (semi)short and to the point, but totally sucks you in and makes you want to cry with the characters.

Beautiful writing, incredibly realistic situations, emotional rollercoaster all the way through... Wow.

I really am impressed with you. I can really see this happening in the manga... though, if I wanted to be nitpicky, I'd point out that there don't seem to be any train stations up where Winry has found Ed and Al. It doesn't look like a place where you can get on a train :P

But that's pretty much the only criticism I can have with your story - and it's not like it takes attention away from the point of the story.

omg! if your not gonna continue this story...is there gonna be a sequel? this was soo good...and you're right...there aren't enough manga centered fullmetal fanfiction. awesome story. i was completely riveted! ;)

Ee... I loved this... it's so bittersweet. I have one small critique. The story telling is so emotional and strong, but then at the very end, you suffer from a sort of uh... dribble. If you eliminate the last seven words, look at how much more pointed that graph is. We don't need to be told it's heart breaking. We already know it... Watching him stare, motionless after the train shows that. So there is no need to elaborate on it.

Couple of typos: “Winry, you have to believe me.” Ed insisted firmly. Winry visibly started at the change in tone. “They’re already threatened your life.” This should be "They've already threatened I think."

I remember seeing one more... but when I went back to get it, I couldn't find it again.. sorry. Seems like it was more about word repetition and not a typo, but I can't remember. There are a couple of places where you've used the same word really close together. This is okay sometimes but not so great with descriptive words. Try to watch, and find other words and phrases. (to wit, I once used a form of the word "Deft" something like 4 times in one paragraph ++snicker++)

Again, I loved this story. So Emotionally evocative... it just tears at you. Do you mean to write a follow up? maybe jump ahead and speculate to the time when Ed does go after her? I would love it.
