This is awesome. I love the way that you have made Zane and Sylar counterparts, as well as the mentions of Gabriel. Its very unique, not usually seen in Heroes fanfiction.

And you write it extremely well.

This is on my favorites list for sure. I like the fluctuations between the two, as well as the Slash pairing.

I don't think it's un-canon of you at all to call Zane Sylar's doppelganger. I think it's very fitting for this fanfiction.

My God, this is amazing, but I'm confused. Is Sylar about to...ahem...Mohinder, or kill him, or is the interpretation part of what you were going for?

And I think the story would have made more sense if instead of Zane's urges, it was Gabriel's. I think it would make more sense that way, since Gabriel is more a part of Sylar, and yet more...different. Argh, grammatically incorrect, but you get the picture, right?

Ah, this was so well done.

I am a sucker for last lines, and the one in this particular story was so dark and perfect--great job.

The characterizations were great too; I really like Mohinder in this, and Sylar/Zane always creeps me out, so I definitely shuddered once or twice here. Interesting idea with Zane being a personality independent of Sylar--I'd never thought of it that way before.
