Intreresting story. I enjoyed it.

Whew! All the political jockeying for position, the back-slapping and back-stabbing going on between those wanting and dispensing favors. And poor Jimmy caught in the middle. Can't wait to see how this all works out.

Intrigue like a nest of vipers! I had to read this one a few times but I think I got the gist. Looking forward to finding out if these guys are as powerful as they think...

I can't believe what a slime ball Tunney is! But I love reading it! Nice scene with Karen and Jim, and the line about Gwen needing a shower! I'm still laughing.

Wasn't sure about this at first but after a couple of reads I'm really into it.

I like the way your work, whether one shots or multi chapter, all work together to build a bigger structure and a nice wide universe for the characters to expand in. Also like how all the characters keep progressing and evolving.

Please write more. I need another fix!

Chief of D's Tunney certainly has a dirty mind--especially when he was the one in the store covertly watching all the women!

Liked the character of Gwen. There is always one person who knows all the "dirty laundry" in any establishment. Hopefully she will keep Tunney from setting Jim up. It will be very interesting to see how Jim responds to Tunney's inuendos concerning him and Karen!

I'm really glad that you are doing this one. I felt like there was a bit of a gap somewhere, between Dunbar deciding to take the exam and worrying about having to go back into uniform and then appearing as a sergeant already in one of your next stories, but still at the 8th. Now we get to learn what happened in between. Great!!
