I just re-read this and I have to say... another triumph. And if I'm not mistaken, a line in here is very similar to what Jim said to Dwight in the hallway about hurting and how he wouldn't wish that on anyone... including Dwight. This just proves that you have as much talent as the writers of the best show on television ever! LOL. A much deserved kudos is coming your way!

Nice job with the first-person, and nice choice of episode references to get the point across. The emotions really came through; I knew exactly how she felt. Nice job!

This was so heartbreakingly sad and honest. You did an awesome job conveying Pam's pain - and the last paragraph showed her never-ending hope. This is definitely going into my favorites!

this=amazing. i could totally imagine pam writing it, and it shows so much emotion, and it really is well written, and my review isn't giving it enough justice. i love how she is reflecting on all their time together, and realizing what it would be like in his shoes from season two, and, then the last line, just simply amazing.

*applause* YES! The last two lines were the perfect ending for this. Even though the whole thing is filled with angst and wistfulness, the ending shows that Fancy New Beesly isn't totally giving up. And that's an important character trait that she often doesn't get credit for. Like I told you before, I think you captured Pam's voice wonderfully. But above that, the main reason this works so well is because it's based on something personal from your own life. Those are always the best things to write about, in my opinion. Let the world judge it how ever it may--it really doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. The important thing is that you are putting it out there in the first place. I'm proud of you. Way to go!

Is this going to be a longer story and not just a oneshot? I think you could pull it off and have the letter end up in Jim's hands somehow or someone else from the office. Maybe she grabs stuff from her nightstand to bring with her and that's how it gets to the office. Well, just a thought. Either way, this was a beautifully written fic.
