Since I already reviewed your other story, and I do not have much time, I will quickly say that for a story so short, this was actually really good...and I just loved it when Vergil panicked at Dante's compashion. Nice touch ;)

PS-Even though Dante did not create Ebony & Ivory, he customized them immensly...so really, in a way, he did make them :)

Good job, I liked how you got their characters across in such a simple moment. I don't think exactly cannon matters, why would I really read fanfiction if I wanted it all cannon? :-P I hope you write more Devil May Cry someday.
