That was very good! I liked the Remus/Lily friendship, it was very sweet. James was very funny as well, he was funny in a blockhead kind of way! Everyone was very in character, and I enjoyed it thoroughly :)

Ok, now that the shameful begging has gotten over with, this was a very good story. I could't find any actual quotes I liked, (sorry ;O) but the plot was very good.

Is it finished, or... Since I wasn't sure, I'll leave a review like I'm not sure and I'll put it on my story alert list. I know exactly how Lily (and you) felt. Well, kinda. I had more luck than you did, I even made my own parchment! It was fun. Yeah... so anyway, I loved it, I always wondered if JKR had ever used a quill before, I mean, it's almost impossible to use to, say, write a letter, let alone take notes in class, when you have to be able to write quickly because the teachers talk way too fast and won't wait for your notes to catch up... And there isn't an eraser! That just kills me! Hary Potter's homework is always stuff like writing essays, but how in the HECK are you supposed to write an essay without a computer (much easier to organise one's thought with a word processor than it is with a pen[cil] and paper), let alone an eraser! anyway, I loved it, so either update soon or you might want to fix the ending. It said that Lily could get ink onto the parchment, not that she could write, so I guess that's where my confusion was. I'll put it on my alerts anyway, just in case. By the by, I would (almost, except for the threat of jail time:) KILL if it meant Remus Lupin would spend time w/ me. Teaching me how to write with a quill, or not, wouldn't matter.
