chibi heishi 2009-06-03 . chapter 1Poor Sora. He had to grow up too fast, and it made him leave parts of himself behind. I love how carefully you've made him treasure little, 'useless' things. |
LadeeBliss 2008-12-23 . chapter 1Oh my God. So beautiful. I love this so completely, it's pretty unbelievable. At first, I thought, aw, what a cute little oneshot, with a hint of sadness. And then I read the last line and I wept soppy little tears that creeped out of the corner of my eyes. I love that line /so/ much. My mouth /dropped open/ with the feeling it carried. I honestly can't describe how it made me feel. This is, to be perfectly honest, one of the best things I have ever read. I love how everything was built up, just to be torn down again at the end. How it tore at my heart. How Sora's memories of home turned into his lost childhood. I mean, I've never really thought about that... except in KH2 when Sora touches on the subject of them drifting from world to world. I also love how you talked about the recurring number three.
...Sorry, I still can't get over that last line to say anything else constructive. Forgive me?
Keep up the extrordinary writing!

EmotionalSpazz 2008-03-27 . chapter 1-sniffle sniffle- This makes me sad... you know, I really wish they'd capture one of these moments in the game. It would have been a good way to see another side of Sora, the part that wasn't engrossed in the adventure.
Good job. |
two-headed fiesta 2008-02-19 . chapter 1its so cute! (: i have nothing constructive to say, aside from the adorableness that sora is and how you explain him almost to perfection. |
The Gooseberry Catastrophe Is Me 2007-11-06 . chapter 1Because of this fanfic, I now see Sora in a totally different way. I also love how this fanfic can sort of even summarize KH so darn well ;o; You are amazing! x3 |
Feral Phoenix 2007-07-31 . chapter 1What exactly is wrong with the world that this story only has fourteen reviews?!
Well, something is. Even if I can't put exact words to it.
So. I think I've told you of your brilliance enough times, so let me just say that this is a very thoughtful look at Sora's world through his own eyes. It's cute that he keeps those particular things, and I particularly enjoy that you got to hint at some lovely SoRiku without ignoring Kairi.
I REALLY liked the idea of Squeon sort-of-smiling without noticing it. ^_^
Anyway, as usual, you are amazing, and I can't wait for more of your chaptered works. |
black-n-white-stockings 2007-03-26 . chapter 1I love you. Did this title come from the book The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien? (that's a good book)
This is awesome. Thanks for updating and making my week. |
Rinjii Harayumi 2007-03-25 . chapter 1Wow, that was moving. I never really took the time to think about how Sora actually felt throughout the events of KH and KH2. Well, I didn't think about it too hard, I just kind of assumed that Sora was looking for Riku and Kairi and wanted to go home. I never realized that Sora was sacrificing a portion of his life to accomplish his goals. Oh, poor Sora!
Rinjii Harayumi ^_~ |
Kyrene once Blood Roses 2007-03-25 . chapter 1...So when would Sora sleep?...Sorry, I had to say it...Moving on...When thinking about Sora, this is perfect. He has a reason to continue smiling and to continue to hope and you showed that perfectly. By the way, I could imagine the picture of the Hallow Bastion people in my head perfectly.
...And now I have to read the book... |
Praetor 2007-03-23 . chapter 1Nice and nostalgic, how I like it. =D The title reminded me of "The Things They Carried", but that's a novel about Vietnam. coincidence? no matter, nice little bit of reflection for Sora here =] |
Kazuni 2007-03-23 . chapter 1 The first thing that caught my attention was the title. I'm reading this book at school. And when I looked at the rating, and the length, before I even opened the story, I wondered if it would follow the novel. Well, reading the note at the top clarified it.
Of course, I enjoyed it. It was simple, and not overly dramatic or painful. It was a story about a boy caught in the middle of a war, a little too grown up and yet still a child. It fits. I like the novel, and I like this little oneshot. You popped this own at an amazingly convenient time. Yay! And thanks. ^_^ |
 Jazu-chan 2007-03-22 . chapter 1Aw! This is soo sweet!
Sora has really grown up, hasn't he? It's kinda sad that he had too grow up so fast, but I guess it's just the life of the Keybearer.

Suzaka 2007-03-22 . chapter 1That was so sweet but really in character and I love how you incorporated game objects in there. |
hidden angelite 2007-03-22 . chapter 1What a lovely one-shot. Great job with all the little trinkets. And I love the thought process over the necklace. Wonderful One-shot! |
Aubuyn 2007-03-22 . chapter 1Very pretty. I always wondered how Sora felt about his duty. In the game, he's always so cheerful, but there have got to be times when he misses his parents, his friends, or Destiny Islands, right? So I think you portrayed that very well.
Of course, I'm also inclined to like this oneshot because I recently read "The Things They Carried" for my English class. It's intense, isn't it? I usually dislike anything that's not Sci-Fi, or Fantasy or the like, but Tim O'Brien...just wow. It was an amazingly amazing book.
Anyways, very nicely done, Uzumaki-sama. You have an interesting style of writing, and good taste in books. |
