This was awesome!! I really loved this! You got the characters right down to the 'T' and it was so funny! You seriously have a talent here. This is so going in my favorites as well as you. Keep writing! Please!

Two lines in this story will make me laugh *forever*, since they did during beta. Hakkai's "that must have been painful for you" and Goku's Kappa Cooties.

Hee! HEE! Hee! *beams* That was so adorable, I love Goku's bemused, gradual realisation... the little bits of interaction between Sanzo/ Goyjo were super sweet... aah, you are rapidly becoming my favourite Saiyuki author. *hearts dearly*

5353 words! Another "sighting" of our lucky number! LOL (Ask Nekochan if you don't know what I'm talking about. ^_-)

We were also talking a while back about how I was saying I'm the laziest writer on the planet when it comes to description, and she said that you take second place (self-proclaimed) - but with this one, I do beg to differ! I could picture the battle scene as clearly as if I were watching the anime, plus the added perspectives from Goku: "A few teeth fell by my shoes" - hee hee...

And then with Gojyo's Bossman warning - thank you SO much for the chant in Japanese again - until now, I can only picture Sanzo calling the scriptures to life with his deep, dangerous, low murmur rising to that last forceful command of "Makai Tenjyo!".

Goku's collection of "evidence" - Bravo. It is so true what he says in the beginning - he may act like a dumb kid most of the time, but that same child-like innocence and purity of heart is what makes him so beautifully perceptive, and sensitive.

The scenes starting from when they book rooms at the inn were so touching. Goku's expressing hurt and bewilderment, just like a younger brother who, for the longest time, was the only recipient of his idol's affections. For Sanzo now to be so focused on someone other than him - aw it makes me wanna hug 'im! Bad Sanzo! XD

The discussion with Hakkai afterwards... ^_^ Apart from being so funny with Goku's reactions and sudden thoughts, and Hakkai's blushing and "closing his eyes" (to avoid...LOL) - it just makes so much sense. GojyoxSanzo = Hakkai + Goku. That's my formula. LOL The first because it's so subtle and yet so *obvious*; the second works because Hakkai has had the love of his life (Kanan), and Goku is just complete unto himself: the Great Sage.

My FAVORITE part (you sly, sneaky witch, you): "Sanzo-sama..."

This was a completely new thing for me (a Sanzo/Gojyo story from Goku's point of view) and I absolutely loved it! I think you captured the "monkey's" voice perfectly--I could almost hear him narrating as I read. Actually, all the characters were wonderful, though they weren't in the story as much. Thanks for the great, funny story!
