That was amazing. I can't explain anything else.

This was really, well, bittersweet. I loved how you incorperated the deadly nightshade poison and how Sally found it. I also liked how you "gave" Lae (Axel) his power or why he uses fire in the manner that he does. Very creative! I'm totally adding this to my favorites.

Lovely and poignant - just the qualities that I admire in an Axel fic as well as a Nobody origin fic of which this fic is both. I quite like your characterisation of Axel being so defiant and mischievious towards his creator and Sally's melancholy over remembering how his Somebody used to be.

This story really brightened up my day! I've been looking around for fan-fiction so brilliant it steals my attention completely, and this won hands-down. My astonishment is boundless, and (though I hate to sound like someone of importance) this opinion is coming from an EXTREMELY picky reader.

I've never seen this take on Axel's orgin before, and I really, really like it. And I like how it was from Sally's point of view. Nicely done.

I'm not a very big fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas, nor have I ever pictured Axel to originate in Halloweentown...and yet...I did enjoy this one-shot. /'The poor child was as ugly and malformed as she,'/ my fangirl mind stopped dead in it's tracks, rewinded, and read that line over and over again. It still hasn't completely registered the fact that Axel could ever have been hideous. And then I realized that he was only ugly to the HallowTownies because he wasn't very monstrous. (Or, at least I hope that was it. x3) The imagery is wonderful, I'll have the picture of Axel sitting on the stone grave with a hand to his mouth (tasting the moth) at the back of my mind for quite a while. I won't be surprise if a sketch or three will be born from this fic, or any of your others.
Oh. I've left a pretty long review, I'm sorry about that. You probably aren't interested in reading my rambling. In short, what I mean to say is that this is one of the most intersting Somebody fictions I've ever read about Axel.
