Can I just tell you, I recently had a conversation with a friend about how they (the show) had gotten away from Dean's more creative tinkering side. I'm thrilled that you brought that back into play. Awesome!

Good story. Just a quick comment. I wanted to voice that I actually feel sorry for Joshua after this chapter. I know Dean's going to at least partially blame him for Ian. And Silas actually seems like a decent guy. (I don't know, I don't really remember reading about him in the other Brotherhood stuff, so I could be wrong). Poor Joshua.

Okay, back to the story.

Just re-read this story and was reminded of a concern that was brought to mind the first time I read it. Josh isn't working with Griffin and co., right? He really thought he was helping by seding Silas and Ian to help? I've grown to really like him, esp. with the back stories with him in them, and would really hate to see him turn to the 'dark side'. Not that I would actually expect you to tell me what you have planned for your stories, that would kinda ruin the fun. Actually, I was never suspicious of Josh until the end when Dean was. Anyway, this long note is all to say that I love your Brotherhood stories and enjoy watching the characters develope.

I missed this too! Man, I have to pay better attention I can't believe I didn't see that this had been updated! Loved it by the way, I love how everything is working out and can't wait to read more. I hope Ian, Silas and Griffen get what they deserve. Update soon!

I loved the story-all of it. The entire storyline, how everything fit together; it was perfect. How Dean was talking to Caleb to just show him he was there (and we all know conversation isn't one of his strengths) to Sam who put up with a very annoying Joshua (but entertaining nevertheless) to rescue Caleb who is still as stubborn as ever. Every single one of them was very well written and very much in-character.

I also loved the small details; like the gay secretary (that seriously cracked me up. I must say I wouldn't mind a Caleb poster myself...) and the memory that sprung to Deans mind. (I don't think I could go from laughing to almost crying any quicker.) And then there's always the end that leads to a bigger plot. I wish I could write like that. I'm convinced that even if I did have someone to back me up like you have Tidia, my musings would still barely surpass the level of Jim's dragon stories. Speaking of writing, all this writing of yours must take up so much of your time. Therefore, let me emphasize the fact that all your efforts are truly appreciated by a lot of people. (Especially me... I'm sensing a big I'm-the-biggest-fan argument coming up...)

great job with the chapter...i'm glad sam and caleb woke up not too worse for wear. although...it is kinda freaky that caleb lost his abilities. i hope dean figures out something with that box...i can't wait to see what he does with it. and i can't wait to find out what joshua's intentions really are...i wonder if it has something to do with the quote at the begining of the chapter. again, great job!

I was wondering if you are planning any stories that don't involve the brotherhood. You are absolutely one of the best writers on fanfiction, but I have to admit (with hesitation), that I am becoming somewhat disinterested in the brotherhood. It is not a question of quality, because your writing really draws me in. It's just that I often think Caleb overshadows Sam's importance and the relationship between Caleb and Dean becomes the focus. To me Supernatural hinges on the relationship between Sam and Dean, my interest is always in the development of stories which explore that relationship. I like when other characters bring a new dimension to that, but as I've read through the brotherhood series, I see Sam becoming more and more a background feature and I find myself skimming some parts of the stories to pass up some of the Caleb focus. Anyway, I hope you consider a story that goes back the basics and refocuses on the original brothers.

Oh this was awesome! Dean is such a great tactician, and I love how his favorite book would be "The Art of War."

It's great to see him get to build something with his hands as well.

Hey really liked this chapter, i love all of the Brotherhood stories because of the relationship between the three boys, i liked the part where Caleb couldn't sense them and thought they were dead i really wouldn't like to be in Ian's shoes right now..i'm really looking forward to the new stories..especially the kidnapping one since i've read the little snippet and i've been looking forward to it since then :P

This was great! I loved the part when Caleb came too and was insistent that he couldn't pick up on Sam and Dean, so he was afraid they were dead--just like when they lost John. You really have me anxious to hear the story about them beating up on Caleb. I can also hardly wait for Ian and Silas to get what they have coming to them. The brotherhood stories are so fantastic! You and your writing associates have really captured my imagination!

I have read everything you have written, and anxiously await each new chapter. While I don't always have time to review, I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your writing. This is an awesome AU you have created, and I really like the relationship between the three boys - almost 3 brothers. I especially like the insights you give us to each character, and the strong bond between them that often seems outwardly denied.
