Wow, this was pretty damn deep. I don't think it quite deserves an M rating (having written some rather gory scenes myself), but that's your perogative. Anyhow, I find the AU quite refreshing.

Liked the fatalistic approach you used in this story. Really something else, its one of the most detailed and emphatic works on this scene Ive read.

I guess Irvine would have done that at one point if the pressure had been too much to bear. Although I really like his character (hes cute and Im a girl, so sue me!), he has always seemed - to me at least - weak, not in a physical sense, but in an emotional one. He seems more prone to a nerve seizure than the other SeeDs.
