I've been wanting to watch Supernatural for ages and in February I found had them, so I watched up to 'Born under a Bad Sign' and then there wasn't any more, next day they had all been taken down ::sigh:: I've read summaries for 'Heart' so have a basic idea of what happened and can't wait until I can find somewhere where I can actually watch it (along with the other episodes I haven't seen) as I can't watch Supernatural on the TV for a couple of reasons.
I really liked this tag, it was well written and flowed nicely. It's really great to see you writing something other than SG1 (although I still love all of them) well done and thank you for posting!

OMG! This is without a doubt the way the episode kept going. How did you know exactly how to finish it?!?!?! No joke! This is how the show would have progressed if the silly old programmers would get a clue and know I'd gladly watch an hour and ten minute episode of Supernatural... as happily as any Lost or Heroes fan eats up the extra few minutes they get in airtime.

I cannot believe how perfectly you captured this! Seriously, except for the fact that I pictured Dean going to Sam, this is the *exact* way I pictured the ep ending! I mean Sam stroking out and not breathing until Dean told him to is exactly what I had pictured... and you wrote it all out so beautifully and with such amazing feeling...

I AM ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' AWESTRUCK!

Excellent tag! That episode was heart-breaking enough, but these lines added to it...

Forehead pressed against the older man’s chest as they rocked, Sam confessed brokenly, “We’re not gonna to make it” Because nobody survived in his presence.

Jaw tense, eyes fixed, arms held protectively tight around his charge, “Watch us” Dean replied steadily. Because if he surrendered to the doubt, the fear now—he’d be giving up on his brother…and Dean just didn’t know how to do that.

I've been reading the different tags and though I liked some of them, no one has written one like yours.
Your tag seems like a natural continuation of the episode.
I could picture Sam saying that they can't win and just see Dean's face as he says, "Watch us"
Perfect ending. 'Because if he surrendered to the doubt, the fear now-he'd be giving up on his brother... and Dean just didn't know how to do that.'
