I'm really surprised, and a little saddened, that this fic doesn't have any reviews here at all. So I'm popping the proverbial cherry, so to speak.

It's a very enjoyable fic, and so in character. You've really captured Lois's voice; the writing style is evocative, and really easy to immerse yourself in. There's something a little deeper to this "deleted scene", like you've scratched the surface and found the character motivations underneath. It fits well with the tone and pace of the episode as well, so it reads like something that actually happened. Nice one.
