I love this. The execution is just great, as is the characterization. All those little lies leading up to him telling the truth about the one thing that matters--brilliant.

wasn't hermy there? u should write a sequel to their reaction, something like with lavender screaming i hate u, and hermy gasping and saying that he only did it to get rid of lavender. then they act like nothing happened, that's why they were so embaressed the next day when the grabbed hands and all. gosh, i just ramble, don't i? that's long enuff 4 now.

I like it a lot, it was quite adorable. The little snippets of conversation between Ron and Lavender were quite amusing, especially:

“Would your cuts feel better if I kissed them?” “Yeah, I think so.” / “What was Hermione Granger so upset about, anyway?” “No idea.”

those to exchanges. And, of course, where Ron declared he fancied Hermione. Brilliant work. :]

Ah, a nice refreshing does of R/Hr. Very well-written; I liked how Ron admitted it to Lavender in the end that he fancied Hermione, and also that he felt guilty.

Great story.

I totally see this as what happened between Ron and Lavender. I didn't think he ever really liked her anyways. I liked it, it was pretty in character.

Oh... that was so sweet! The ending was perfect!! one the the first times that he told the truth to Lavender. Really good!

wow. you know, i think this hits ron on the spot. a bit insensitive but well-meaning; the ending was great, as well as the little glimpses into their relationship that everyone likes to make fun of.

GREAT characterizations, really; we don't get enough of that these days. =)
