It was cute...in a weirdly disturbing way. No, no, just kidding. I've read this before, but I wanted to take the time to review it because it gets to me in just the right way.

That was a great idea, and a very symbolic one. The idea of making others bleed as you are yourself bleeding, was a really great metephor and visual.

I personally am one of those pple who think Soi Fong is the only woman Zaraki would find interesting enough to stop fighting long enough to court, mostly because there'd be a lot of fighting in between said courting. I'm curerntly doing a multi pairing fic with this pairing being one of them. I hope I can convey things between them as well as you did in this one shot.

The way you wrote it really makes it non-crackish :) I could see this pair getting along pretty well after this. Good job!

That was well written and very in character. I enjoyed it very much!

I first must compliment you on how in-character the indiviuals were. This is also one of my favorite pairings, it should really show up more often. But concering the strory, I say it is a wonderful creation achived only through clever thoughts and careful planning. Which is rarely found, I might add. but 3 things that got my attention which are really worth a pat on the back are:

1. Just the right amount of spacing, between words and paragragh, to the point where even if I didn't read the story, I could see that it was set up beautifully. Goodwork on that!

2. As I mentioned earlier, the in-charactern-ness is flawless. Simply flawless.

3. As a oneshot, you gave just enough backround that is nessacery, about a half of a page. Not some flash back which is ultimately, about 4 or 5 times longer than the story, and takes about 30 minutes to read.

I must go now, but I would feel guilty if I didn't say this:

Oh my, is that their idea of a date? Love how you set up Soi Fong (shudder, the proper chinese way to spell her name is suifeng, but no one cares -tears-) with someone else other than Yoruichi, who I don't really like that much.

Very nice. The characters were in-character, and the situation was probable, not to mention that everything was written well. That, and of course my bias for the pairing. I look forward to whatever else you come up with.
