DeathProofHero 2009-10-23 . chapter 1You have got to be the most talented writer who's work I've ever had the pleasure of reading on this site. Your stories are so delightfully depressing and at the same time deeply poetic. Really great stuff, thanks for writing it ^_^ |
Whtwlf 2009-09-02 . chapter 1That was an amazing read. I love your writing and I hope to see more of it in the future. |
NefariousDrO 2009-07-19 . chapter 1 This has been a real joy to read. The narrative is poetic, almost dream-like, fluid and the only word to use I can think of is "warm". It put a lump in my throat, made me both happy and sad, wanting to cry while still smiling. In short: it was beautiful. Sorry I'm not a member here, and I generally don't include my emails in reviews, but I thought you deserved to know that I loved this story, and I'm going to read it again. Thank you. |
 Nightcrawler's Shadow 2009-07-16 . chapter 1Bravo! Loved it! |
titanfan45 2008-04-20 . chapter 1I really enjoyed reading your story. I was very impressed with how you told the reader how things turned out with just a few words in the last sentence. |
azarielthebladed 2008-04-03 . chapter 1I really, REALLY liked this. Your writing is superb, both in form and essence. I continue to enjoy your work. |
Zirra Nova 2008-02-10 . chapter 1Oh. This is lovely. I love the way you've shown that the beginning and ending of a story, aren't just beginnings and endings. And I love how you gave Raven a wonderful, if brief, child hood. She truly does deserve one. |
Lvl2DragonTamer 2007-11-20 . chapter 1/Really/ incredible story. The starting point of this story--that the Titans are growing up and apart, that Beast Boy, which is far more frightening, is going from gold to green--was really a haunting one. For some reason, I always want the Titans to stay like Peter Pan and be children, but they can't, can they? I always hit the "pause" button in my mind when I think that far into the future.
Now on to the actual story. You have read. A lot. I recognized about 3/4 of the names, if that, and can't claim to have read nearly that much.
And what was far, far better, was that you wrote about what eventually would have to happen--the Titans growing up--and made the future not a horrible unavertable tragedy like the prophecy, but... happy with a little tang of sorrow. Bittersweet, I guess, though that's not the right word. Raven growing up--if you can call it that, considering she never really was a child in the first place, was handled beyond well. This was quite a character study, if you can call it that.
Yet another long gushing review. Oh well. -DT |
 Taxxed 2007-07-16 . chapter 1Goodness, you're an amazing writer. |
Treeonice 2007-05-16 . chapter 1 I like that. Especially the ending. I was having a hard time understanding everything that was going on, but that's just my perception ability. |
Hero and Bob 2007-05-14 . chapter 1You alwys suprise me, I never think that I will find quality literature on the internet, and then you write something and I just... I don't know what to say. I'm more in love with your writing and your way to depict the Teen Titans than I ever was in the characters from the cartoon or the comic. |
BLIvorySS 2007-04-25 . chapter 1This was just...superb. This was such a beautiful story, and it was so great to see Raven getting a chance to experience childhood. It was kind of sad to see the Titans disipate, but I guess it happens. Things change, life goes on. I guess what made it sad for me was that I'm graduating from high school soon, and it kind of hits close to home. But reading this has made me feel better about it too. The next step's a step up:D.
My absolute favorite passage in this story (and one of the most pure and honest ways of expressing the character's care for another I've ever read) was "She couldn’t give him that chance...because she had read enough about life to know you can’t just learn it from books."
Anyways, I'll stop now:D. Phenomally written, beautifully expressed, this was a joy to read. Thank you!

SpiderSquirrel 2007-04-17 . chapter 1I love the mentiuon of boks and what not. Extremely well written. Way to go! |
Demigod 2007-04-09 . chapter 1How exceedingly well written! I must admit that I recognized very few of the authors mentioned. I'm just not much of a reader these days.
The story itself was believable, and the plot flowed well and made sense. It's sort of sad, in a way, to see a story in which the Titans 'end'. It is one of those inevitable things, I suppose. People grow up, and things change.
Again, exceedingly well written. I enjoyed it a great deal. |
Setesh 2007-04-02 . chapter 1a wonderful little piece, just what I needed this morning. Thanks. |
