ah...i always love a blushing Sanzo

Like it, like it ,like it. I can almost see sanzo with his gun on his shoulder, and gojyo flirt as he is. The way you describe it I feel as if I'm watching it. And the way hakkai acted as their mediator, its really him. Great piece.

Aah, the ever patient and much-put-upon Hakkai... you kinda wonder how the poor man keeps his sanity with everybody acting up around him like they do, ne? ^_^ The answer: a certain quiet, soft-spoken "healer" of a certain tachi that they're supposed to be the sworn enemy of... ^_-

Really! I was so surprised, after pairing Hakkai and Yaone off in my TMD series, to find out that that was *exactly* Minekura-sensei's early intention! There is a little-seen drawing from way back in the '90's that shows Hakkai embracing Yaone (with Gojyo embracing someone that looks like Kanan) - but my theory is that since Gojyo is interesting enough with his half-breed legacy and playboy personality, Minekura-sensei gave the "Kanan" angle to Hakkai instead. But that still does not mean that 8Y is not canon in origin!

Hakkai is more IC here than I could ever make him out to be, so kudos on that. The lover's quarrel is so precious, too - love both of the guys' own *coughBIASEDcough* perspectives on the situation. LOL! But in his usual sly, cunning way, Hakkai saves the day as usual - through sheer subtle manipulation, and with both the miscreants none the wiser that they are just doing what he's convinced them to do. Heh.

Love the part where Sanzo forgets himself and leans into Gojyo... until the devious healer once more reminds them of reality. ^.^'

All I can say, my friend, is you totally rock! You nailed Hakkai. I think he's totally in character. Love the humor. Very intelligently written. I've been following this series from the beginning, and it's one of my favorite series of fics ever. I've tried to think if I have any constructive criticism, but I just don't have any criticism at all. I'm excited to see where you go with this next.

Gojyo's 'Ore-sama' style story is *hilarious* and two of my favorite lines from him are: "He's gonna KILL ME!" and "F--k you, Mr. High-and-Mighty!" XD And poor Hakkai, honestly... he deals with so much. I'm convinced that both Goku and Hakkai have to have an impact on any 53 relationship; Hakkai being somewhat of a 'therapist' and Goku being... well, perhaps you can explore that next. ^^;
