St-Jimmy1669 2007-10-13 . chapter 1Love it, yet again. You just keep delivering! ANd superb use of understatment, which works wonders. |
lxlquixoticlxl 2007-04-01 . chapter 1That was amazing. It rang true to both of the characters so well. I could actually perfectly envision this scene playing out in my mind. Amazing workmanship darling. |
HouseAddict16 2007-03-30 . chapter 1Loved the ending, done wonderfully. I love how you do the House Wilson stuff, but its all so sad. Makes me think and smile with slight tears. Amazing job. |
WayLowHalo 2007-03-29 . chapter 1Wow. Beautiful, really. And that's not a word I often use to describe things. The whole thing kind of has a melancholy acceptance just radiating off of Wilson while House continues to eternally question it all. Brilliant, very inspired. |
AnonyMiss731 2007-03-29 . chapter 1OMG! Why did I do it? Why did I do it?
I stay away from these like the plague but you caught me with the other one and I thought I could handle this. Know I'm all sad and so close to crying. That was so horrible. I mean the feelings you made not the writing. The writing was beautiful, it was canon and so bitter sweet. *claps and cries for your genius* |
 Bubbles1970 2007-03-29 . chapter 1I love it.
Beautiful, simple, and short. You condense every line so that each word COUNTS. I don't think I could find a single word that does not belong, that isn't woven right into the fabric of the story.
And I love that you don't need to come out and say "it." You say it without saying it, in little clues that might or might not include Wilson's "nesting" behaviour, and House's tapping cane. Absolutely, Wilson's fatigue and House's dogged question are clues, but you leave us to weigh the rest and decide. Wilson is still (standing there, folding clothes) because he's somehow more...domestic than House. He's more "caring." Or he's still because he no longer has the strength to move, and he realizes that the little things are what matter now. House is so persistent because he likes a puzzle (or is jealous that someone else might solve it first). Or he's persistent because it's the only way he can cope - by KNOWING what the person closest to him faces.
I'm rambling, which is something you don't do. To wrap it up, very nice. Short, sweet, and (I'd say) brilliant. A simple premise, but flawlessly executed. |
nighttime writer 2007-03-28 . chapter 1i dont get it who died? |
