So maybe I'm really dense, but I get confused from here:

Sasuke’s not crying. Not crying even though he can feel something hard pressing against his back. Not crying and not begging for it to stop and not slumped limply, hopelessly, against the telephone pole.

to here:

Not trembling from the cold; he can’t even pretend anymore.


When is it he is not doing something and when is it he is denying to himself he is doing something?

Wow, that was, um, somthing else. I believe you hit all of those 4 very well, especially the sense of desperation, which was pervasive throughout. One error though: when buying soda, you have Sasuke ask Sasuke if he wants a soda, not Kakashi. Kudos for a good job with the fic, I love your KakaSasu stories, they're good.

Oh please this can not be a one-shot. I want to know what happens next.

This is a great story. I'm not usually even a fan of this pairing but the way you describe things is excellent.

...You know what? That almost made me cry. It was so gorgeous, so utterly sublime. I'm still trying to register it all-, all of the wonderful parts. It was SO beautiful, so detailed, and I could almost imagine what both of them were thinking! Your writing is magnificent, and I can't tell you that enough times! This story in particular was very, very, very touching, and the ending...Oh, I stared at my computer screen for nearly three minutes (seriously) because it was THAT good.

Holy shit...I wish I could write as good as this! -laughs- Everything I try to come out ends up short and sloppy-, a drabble, like my last oneshot..., but your fics are NEVER like that, and it's another reason you are a glorious author... Maybe, maybe I need to learn things from you. I still haven't gotten as good as Abby is, and God knows how long it'll take to get where you are...

Im an insomniac myself so I can relate, an I must say you describe it all wonderously, even the comatose state of sleep depravation one goes through ^ ^' And of course, as always with your works, the imagery and the writing style itself is top quality, I love, I love, I love X3 The only mistake I found was in the line "so Sasuke doesn’t bother raising his guard, feeling far too tires." which Im pretty sure is spose to be "tired"
I love the subtle things you add in your fics, like Kakashi opening his mouth to speak but not saying anything or how he and Sasuke (in this case) are thinking completely diferent things
