I really like this story & put it on my story alert ^^ Hope there is more come!

I'm slowly getting Ruiping's role in Gojyo's growing up... she was the one who transformed him into the charmer and heart-breaker that he is now, eh? All because of her lessons both in bed and outside it.

Whoo boy is Banri ever coarse! As far as characterization goes, he sure is a stand-out, if only for his brassiness and in-your-face brutal frankness. ^.^' Am still curious whether you reveal him to be another burnt dumpling, though. Heh.

Gojyo is fleshing out more and more too... with this kind of premise, am slowly getting used to the "idea" of a (non)58 in the future, even if my jealous chibis are glaring daggers at me. LOL!

Yay for earning that M rating with the language... I think. ^^;; Yes, poor Gojyo for having that talk.

We are getting ever closer to getting out of angsty-kappa mode and into happier things... but of course, not without a little more hardship.

I had to wait three whole frickin' days before I could review, and even then FF won't let me review chapter 2 - what is wrong with my computer? *sobs*

Anyway - hm. Not really much to say about chapter 2, except to say that I find myself agreeing with Gojyo - the girl seems to be getting quite clingy. >.

You left out a few words during the fight (I knew I wasn't seeing things!) "isn't it past *your*" (your was missing). It was a short chapter, but as I said, it's a transisition, so it doesn't need to be overly long. I can tell neither one is really too sure of themselves at this point, so perhaps things will start moving towards another direction. ^_~

I could tell where the kappa got his way with the direction of the story. ^_~ Nice intro of Rui-chan and showing that Gojyo's *really* not comfortable with this, that she comes off a little intrusive, and he's unsure of what she has up her sleeve.

I see that you kept the name of that tavern, very nice.

Ingenious plot-filling. *hugs my poor Gojyo* Very true, btw- his "pervertedness" of the present is only a reverse-psychological-response to that boyhood trauma. I could never write something this in-depth and detailed and imagined about their pasts, and the events that contributed to making the men that they are today. So, well done once more!

I've read through most of this before, so I don't have too much new to say other than there was one small typo at the very beginning of the story "Iknow" somehow the words got squished together.

Yeah, kappa angst bad, but we must get through the rain to see the sun. ^_~
