I really liked this. I think you have a really good thing for feelings and emotions.

Kanda was beautifully in character. To me, he always seems to see one side of the truth, and the rest he doesn't care about. The sparring matches and how he gradually comes to accept Allen in his life were perfect. :)

This is the most in character Kanda I've read.
It really fits, he just isn't the fluffy mushy type, and you circumvented that nicely. Have a cookie. xD

Simply... divine. Ugh, I can't form words about this. It's too... I don't know, I'm speechless. I loved the unspoken promise theme, among others, and of COURSE I'm head over heels for your writing style... and the ending was so satisfying. Repetition and layers of meaning ftfw. This was written a long time ago, eh? Still, it's excellent. Perfect. Wouldn't change a word if I could. :) You're an epic writer, I hope you know that!

This may sound like a silly thing, when compared to the general awesomness of the whole fic, but I think your comment about Crowley being "bewildered, but not wanting to rock the boat" was probably one of the most brilliant and apt descriptions of his character that I have ever read. I sat there and giggled over it for a good five minutes.

And while I'm at it, the rest of the story was incredible, too. :)

I LOVE this pairing so bad if I don't get my daily dose of yullen goodness one way or another, I'll look like kanda on a no-soba day!XD very plausible way for the pairing. Beautiful! Bravo! *claps hands furiously* You've managed to define the KandaxAllen relationship in a whole new way. Especially with Kanda; you completely captured the honor-and-strength values he has. Sometimes when reading the D.Gray-man manga, I think, 'Kanda is SUCH a samurai'. When in one of the anime bonuses Allen cheats on Kanda in poker, he even goes on an honor speech. ^^ As for the denial... Yes, Kanda would be like that. He's a bit mentally deficient when it comes to emotional matters. ^^;

And Allen, you've done very well with too. I've always thought that Kanda and Allen bickered a bit like an old married couple. In keeping with that, Allen would also know somehow when to back off. It's in the manga, too. Oh, and that charm... that irresistable charm... *splurts the tea I drank out in laughter* Yes, Allen's like that, eh? He converts people. Gasp! Maybe he's a saint! But then again, all Innocence users are called apostles, so maybe it works out anyway. I guess Kanda would be known as the Apostle of Death if Allen is the Apostle of Conversion. XD

Very nice! This ficcie reaffirmed why I love the KandaxAllen pairing. I used to ship AllenxLenalee, but she... became a little weak. I liked her better when she was spunky (which was in the first couple volumes). I've been officially converted to KandaxAllen since then after reading a great ficcie on them. So much scope... *sighs fangirl-sigh*
