And poor poor Ran. (Cuddles her gently.) Unlucky in love eh? At least she's still alive but... Ah. Poor Shuichi, not realizing the pain he's been causing her, at least not till too late, and now he probably hates himself for it. Wonderful tie in with the latest revelations as well (and now I really really REALLY want to go and hunt down any fics centred on Akai and Akemi dangit. New OTP raising its head?) And oh yes, the irony of Ran not being able to remember Akemi. She had been so passionate about the girl at the time, but it's true her memory tends to block out traumatising events like that one. I wonder what will happen when she does remember her, if ever? And if she ever meets Shuichi again. Oh the heart break. FS? I love you for this, it is wonderful, and I'm gushing so much and I only saw two mistakes at most that Rae will most certainly point out to you so... (Gushing goes on...)
