SophieSaulie 2007-04-02 . chapter 1Really clever point of view! I really enjoyed it. It's a wonderful way to show the brothers from completely different eyes.
My fav parts are:
It was strange… She’d carried both boys inside her. Almost like a mother would – but she’d never been a mother. She’d died before she the chance to. And the older brother – Dean – had treated her almost like the person she’d once been; always talking to her and acting considerate of her feelings, such as they were.
Well, he’d hurt her before. After his father had died. But she knew that he’d taken his pain out on her to avoid taking it out on his brother. And Dean had later put her back together again with far more care than ever before.
She’d heard them argue, but had been able to see their love for each other in pretty much everything. But she’d wished the terms of the deal had involved being able to talk to them. Next time she saw a Collector, she’d have to try and bring that up. Then again… they’d probably try to exorcise her if they ever saw her.
Would he leave them? She figured it was likely. This was no life for Sammy. It wasn’t really a life for Dean, either – and he seemed to be more and more willing to give it up. But she’d stick with them whatever happened.
After all, the Winchesters had rescued her from the scrapheap. The older man – John – had seen the potential in her and repaired her, just like his son did later on. - LOVED THIS! |
