I'm kind of interested to see just how well Ranma-chan adapts to both the siuations of the school and whatever her new responsibilities will be with her new 'position', as anything that happens to Ranma usually has consequences that he/she finds difficult to deal with, even if others would kill to be in that very same situation, it's just how Ranma's life works, ne? ^^? Xylix 2007-04-11 ch 5,	abuseStories like these are proof that sometimes voice alone can carry a story. Your voice for Ranma is excellent, and for all intents and purposes makes up the heart of this story. Listening to Ranma wax and wane about this and that is wonderfully done, and filled with such character, that I believe I would probably continue to read this even if there were no plot at all. That being said, the ending to this chapter could have used a little bit of reworking. For instance, making it clear that Ranma just couldn't say "No" (not that he/she wanted to say yes!) would have provided a more believable transition into that. That, and a touch more description would be nice. But again, kudos for using the first person perspective for what it is best at.

KaleRaven 2007-04-10 ch 5,	abuseI have to heartily disagree with some of the other reviewers out there in that I think you're doing a splendid job. Is Ranma bewildered? Most definitely. This story is being told explicitly as Ranma's experience. Half the fun is seeing 'her' sink into this mess and figure it all out as she goes along, and we along with her. There's a lot of fics that are plain and straightforward 3rd person narratives. This isn't one of them. Accept that, and enjoy the ride! ~Even though I have no idea about this genre of manga/anime, I think you've really related all the important details subtly and seamlessly, much unlike the grossly blatant omniscient-narrator-cheatsheets that many fics jam in as a crude substitute. I'm getting more intrigued for each chapter I read, and your artful style is impressing me. Kudos!
yellulhchicken 2007-04-10 ch 5,	abuseBetter Much Better! While it is kind of anoying that Ranma still hasn't figured out that "petit seur" means little sister. I guess it is understandable since s/he is Ranma after all. Sigh one of the few stories that I see Ranma being literaly thrust out of his environment but still made in a most belivable and even likeable way. I don't mind if you don't update daily as long as you update at least once every 2 weeks regulary.
