(This is kind of a combo review for ch 11 & the epilogue)

“GOODBYE DILLY!" I loved that! And Dilandau’s wearing his movie outfit now, isn’t he? Yay! I always thought he looked simply dashing in white & gold. And the beginning of the chapter was really sweet; I had a great time imagining all the Slayers wearing the flowers that Cel & Merle had put on them! _

“I’m you, you’re me” Boku wa kimi nanda, kimi wa boku nanda…sigh…Little Bird…is that his nickname for her? I must have missed that.

Sigh…such a Great ending! *sobs heartily* Did you say that the sequel would have a sad ending? You can’t have done that!

The Magliss remind me of evil versions of Sora’s elf clan from the movie…they also put me in mind of doppelgangers *shudders*

I read those quotes in the end from RotH…it gave me the impression that the Slayers are gonna die *bawls* But then, I’m probably just being presumptuous, as per usual…

As a sort of poor substitute for my not reviewing, I’m going to write this review As I Read Chapter 10, so hopefully it will be wonderful & long.

1) Oh, that’s precious—imagining Dilandau smashing a candelabra on Allen’s head!

2) What a coinckydink! I think he’d look like Allen if he had long hair, too! Haha! I loved it when Allen said: “How was I supposed to believe you were trying to give yourself a haircut when you were chasing Van around my bed with a drawn blade?"

3) “Dilandau hated Allen, Van, the sorcerer, Gaddess, the rest of the Crusaders, all of Asturia in general, politicians, lazy soldiers, People who tried to boss him around, bad vino, disobedient servants, incompetents, and, above all, the colour pink. Not to mention lacy nightgowns.” That list was very well written!

4) Ah, methinks Celena is in a bad mood -;

5) Wait…haven’t scissors been invented yet? Couldn’t Celena cut Dil’s hair w/ scissors? Aww, he likes the haircut! How typical… Tho’ I’m having a hard time imagining how it looks now…

6) I also like the idea of Dilandau minus the diadem!

7) They still have a…um, psychic link?

8) “You MUST promise me you won’t try to dig out his heart with a butter knife” *grimaces* Clever line, but it conveys quite a grisly image. … Gaddes doesn’t like serving Allen? Wha…? Gaddes fantasizing abt a mermaid grlfriend! Hahaha! That was great.

9) “private communication channel”! PCC! Cool.

10) Eheheh…I’m appreciating all of Rusent’s politically correct terms… ‘Grievous defect’…how rude! I would be po-ed, too, if I were Dilly.

11) “Guards every 10 feet”? Are you Sure? Maybe it’s every Twelve feet! Lol

12) *envisions Allen forgetting his manners & banging his head on the table & getting various food articles in his hair* Yes, Allen, you do that. Merle flirting with Gaddes? ‘scuse me…*retches into a basin* No, I really didn’t find it sickening…-; just slightly disturbing…

13) *sniffs* That’s really sweet! I never liked Dil/Cel pairings, but you fic totally changed my mind!

14) So…Van always thought of Allen as a dumb blond, too, albeit a dumb blond who could kick his a** every time w/o trying.

15) Oh NOO! Have those d*mn sorcerers kidnapped Cel & Hito?

16) Go Dilly!

17) Dilandau’s alive! I knew he would make it! _

18) *tears* Van thanking Dilandau…*sniffs* That’s such a wonderful thought!

19) What’s Happening? I’m getting unnerved by the silence! .

20) MIGEL! *glomps Migel* Wait…why’s he here? CHESTA! *glomps him, too* GATTI! VIOLE! GUIMEL! *musses Guimelly-kun’s hair* DALET! *ruffles Daru-kun’s hair, too* BIORE! SHOJI—waitaminute, who the heck’s Shoji? Oh well! *hugs him anyway* He-ey, who’re all these ‘gekitai I’ve never heard of before? Anyhoo, I think it’s Really great that you’ve all given them distinct personalities! JAJUKA! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! *glomps the dogman & does not let go*

21) YEAH! PARTY! Oh! Dilandau’s movie-‘do? I LIKE that! _

I Love this fic! I was really intrigued by the prologue and have been reading it all this time, but I never reviewed! I’m so sorry! I love how you employ the pieces of humor so seamlessly, and I love how you handle the characters of Dilandau and Celena. It’s magnificent…I could never dream to do anything like this! Also, I’m really glad how things are turning out so far! Once again, I’m so very sorry I haven’t reviewed before this! I’m definitely reading more!

PS I’m simply mad about your poetry, too—especially the humorous pieces like "Curse of the Mystic Moon"!

I really enjoyed your story, my only complaint being the "resurrection" of all of those people - a little strange and something I'm not sure that Hitomi would just...do. Bringing killers (people who tried to kill her love, Van) back to life is a huge responsibility - one that I don't believe that she'd take so lightly as to just, have a "girl's meeting" about and just bring em back - like going to the store, or something. I realize that all of these people are very necessary to your subsequent storyline, so it really wasn't all that big of a deal to me, just my only point of critique.

That's all of the mean-ness I have about this story, though, as I really really enjoyed it overall. Celena was a big mystery at the end of Esca, and I like all of the back-story you put into everything. Well done overall. Really well done, and thanks :)

Nice wrap up and nice story. A difficult task to pull off the triple climax but you did it remarkably well.

Huh oh, double climax? That's gonna be hard to pull, it's even kind of trippled by Hitomi's rescue. But it's so nice to see a foiling of the ususal three step story.

Overall an excelent chapter. I particularly liked the fate altered socks. I do have a corrective comment tho, seccond paragraph - 'his [Chid's] adopted father's death had long since had revenge, the murderer dead' - Mahad dal Freid was killed by arrows, not mechs.

Don't forget spell check. I've done that too a few times since somebody turned off my red lines... on a college entry essay... ehhw. But fabulously done, I like the cage thing.

Allen's owl is named Natal, Archemedes the owl is from the Disney style Sword in the Stone. I do like the time slip, going through the more important memories, it makes sence.

That was so... gorgeous... the most beautiful Escaflowne story we have ever read. We've both been wondering when someone would write a story about Serena and Dilandau... (sorry we hate romanizations!) Ohhh! It's so beautiful...

LOVED it. Moving on to the sequel!

Oh yeah, this has to be the fifth or sixth time I've read this fic. And.. I always enjoy it, have yet to get tired of it. But, now, as I just read through the quotes again, I noticed one I didn't see before. "*SHE* is going to marry Emperor Folken?" That's very discomforting. If by she, you mean Celena, I'll have to hunt you down. But if by she, you mean the really annoying airhead princess in RoTH, then I don't mind. Oh yeah! Update RoTH more too! Probably going to go read over those three chapters again.
