This story is quite well-done. Though you could say that was an insult considering how well it's written, plus the plot is captivating; wish I had that kind of skill. I have added both you and the story to my 'favorites' file; that's the only thing in my homepage actually. I'm a bit on the 'blond' side and keep forgetting the names of the stories that catch my attention, so that's the main point of me having an account here. Why do I say so? I'm tired of people asking me why I have a profile here and no stories whatsoever. Even though it's clearly written in my page. God how I ramble. Anyways, I noticed you haven't updated this story lately. A bit disappointing, I like when authors update at least once a week; I have issues if they don't. I applaud your work and the way you've captured each individual's personality whether they're OCs or Death Note characters; as you stated in the FAQ section, L is a very difficult character. I've been trying to make a story of my own like this one and every time he's so completely OOC that I decide not to post it. Rambling. Your story excites me and I hope to read more from you.

I don't know how long this story has been up or even if it is finished but I just wanted to tell you how much I love it, even though I haven’t finished reading it yet. I just love how real the characters seem and most of all since I love L I love that you haven’t killed him and hope it stays that way. Ever since I started read George R. R. Martin’s work years ago (don’t know if you’ve ever heard of him) a lot of stories seem boring and cliché in comparison, it’s like he ruined me for other fiction. So I was very presently surprised by how your fanfic totally hooked me. I just wanted to say good job and I hope you keep writing. Plus the little inputs you make about your life totally struck cord with me especially the hating reality and living in fantasy (paraphrasing) thing.

Excellent story. Though it's one of the few Death Note fics I've read, it's quite impressive. Your characters seem to show real emotional depth...if that makes any sense...

Anyways, keep up the great work!

Hello! First I must tell you how much I love your story so far and I will certainly keep reading! Now, I found your story through the favorites of another author, after reading her new 2-chapter story...I think it is called 'The Dawn', your probably wondering why I'm telling you this, eh? Well, after reading both stories, I have noticed many similarities. Many similarities. I suggest, you track down the story and take a look-see.

You know, Mello actually did get his scar in a bomb explosion, I think... and it was with the mafia. I may be totally wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not. I'm loving how you gave us a veiw of Mello's emotions.
