Great follow up to Foresight. I especially enjoyed Jack's timely entrance and the scene immediately preceding his introduction to Mark & Pete. I also loved how you had Sam pondering what truly constituted family.

"Their offspring just looked on with a long-suffering expression on his young face."

That line caused a vivid image to spring to mind, and I got the meaning of your next two paragraphs before actually reading them.

Finally, I had many evil chuckles interspersed when contemplating how Mark's plan was foiled before it even got off the ground. See, Mark, real men want their sisters to be happy, not controlled. Forwarned is forearmed, as they say.
