Of course, Dally can't rob a store if he's in jail, and the medication allergy was an idea I never would have come up with. Anyway, I thought it was a fairly believable way to change what happened in the book. |

Since I'm also working on one that will eventually involve the state interfering with the Curtis family, it's really interesting to see what other people do with the same idea. I wish you had developed the aunt more - you did a good job setting up the situation of the "mystery" aunt who actually hates them, but I didn't feel like we ever actually saw her mistreating the boys while they were at her house. I thought you did a fairly good job of keeping the boys in character, and I liked the way you switched from viewpoint to viewpoint. |
