I love how you manage to make Achilles both arrogant and debilitated at the same time. He knows his worth against that of Hector, yet he knows without his cousin, he is without value.

It always bothered me to see how very self-assured Achilles tends to be, but then again, if I was renowned as the greatest warrior in all the world and whatnot, I might be the same way.

Lovely, as always. I like it when an author manages to make a relatively short piece totally profound and fascinating.
