Cool! Another that should have been longer though. But I was grinning by the end of it. Not sure why you had it listed as Drama/Angst though - I tend to think Angst means painful-to-the-reader character death and/or suffering. Drama would have been fine.

I really hated the fact that Harry lost his magic.
It was what made him special, made him Harry Potter.
His scar yes, its gone.

That was a part of him too, but, yes: It had to go.

I still haven't read 7. I stopped reading a few chapters into 6 dismayed at the treatment of Snape and decided to wait until 7 was out and I had found enough spoilers to convince me it was worth it to go on. Then when I decided it was I started over with 1 so it'll be a few months yet. From what I've heard though, Rowlings doesn't tie everything up with a neat little bow and there should be lots of wiggle room for fanfic left for canon based fics and the AUs and ARs were always the best anyway.

I really like this alternate ending. It sets up some interesting possibilities for future stories. Harry could end up as what Robert Asprin called a "mechanic" someone who collects magic items so that they appear to be a powerful wizard, like your villain in Revolution.

This story is excellent! It would be a really good multi-chaptered story! Pleasee write more chapters for it!!

nice story, and your right of couse, HP fanfic will change a lot now i suspect, all the mystery has been taken, and with the final chapter in DH so is much of the 'future' fiction and speculation that could have been written. ah well, t'is the nature of FanFic.

Interesting premise. I actually like the idea of Harry's scar being a Horcrux and the source of at least part of his magic. Thanks for keep Snape in character.
