That was a good story. I liked how did you show Yukari's strenght. I only thought tooking the Japanese out would work better and would have more impact, as sometimes you indeed did.

well, i think that this was meant to be a one-shot and serves that purpose very well. too often, escaflowne writers allow for van and hitomi to get back together without a why or wherefore- just that they missed eachother. your proposition expresses so much more- an imperfect hitomi who had to grow up a bit before she could accept van. thanks for infusing hitomi with some personality. man, did she need it.
