After plowing through a pile of badfic for this pairing today, it was nice to find this gem. A decently written and characterized fic. Keep up the good work.

Aw, that's it? You got Axel's and Sai'x's personality down pretty much perfectly (yaoi discluded) It's a well-written short story and it's definatly going on my favs.

And may I add that you did a fantastic job in describing the bar scene and its surroundings? I usually want to throttle authors who go off on lengthy, long winded tangents concerning the tangible scenery that nobody cares about anyway and consequently puts half their readers to sleep by the first paragraph. You, however, wrote just the right amount of area description without crossing over into the realm of the mundane and pointless. Good job.

The kiss--while the initial idea of Saix kissing anybody besides his own mother, and only when he was two, makes me cringe outwardly--was also executed well. It wasn't melodramatic and emo and smutty. It was just right. Though I find the idea of BDSM Axel/Saix a tad distubring and will therefore blame you for any insomnia that follows.

I learned alot about alcohol from this piece. Horrah! You have educated Vixen! I feel so smart now! I can go order a drink!
