This is one of my favorite FFVI fanfics of all time!

I loved the way that you made Celes, Kefka and Leo all raised together. True, in the actual game Kefka is 17 years older than Celes, but this made a great story, so why not? It flows nicely, you never would guess.

I too have always wondered what their childhood would be like, and in this fanfic you wrote it wonderfully. So realistic, I could really imagine this being what had happened (with a few minor changes)

It was nice to see a story before Kefka's insanity, as many seem to focus so much on the 'insane' Kefka that they seem to forget that he was once a sane, reasonable person.

i don't know if you know this or not, but there are official ages for kefka and leo; leo is thirty, while kefka is a few years older than leo. but, hey...this is an EXCELLENT fanfiction. i really loved the concept, and it answers a few questions you had while playing final fantasy six, like; how come leo refused to become infused with magic? and how did celes grow up? a VERY nice story. one of my favorites. ;

I don't think Celes, Kefka and Leo were about the same age but I don't care about that. You can do what you want when you write fanfiction. So far, this story is really insightful and believable!

I just beat FF6 and I think it's even better than FF7! Well, now I can start reading fanfiction without having to be afraid of spoilers. Well, excellent chapter so far!
