I don't know. I think this is my fourth...fifth time reading this now? (And i never get tired of it). And I'm still hoping for the next part. (^~)

Umm, i really, really liked Itachi's characterization in this, it fits him so well. And...uh, i admire how Sasuke took the situation(and he's just so young), didn't go totally out of wack, until, maybe the end, but i guess he needed that type of release. I don't blame him.

And... i love your idea for this story. I'm really interested in whats going to happen next!

I think I read this story some time ago, actually, but never got round to reviewing it. The first time I read it, I didn't appreciate how well you've worded things (cuz I'm a skimming reader and consequently, miss out important things). This is, I think, the third time I've read it completely through, and only now have I realised the sheer literary talent in your writing.

In particular, this line stood out for me, "Sasuke’s eyes filled with hurt tears, and Itachi made a low scoffing sound." I don't know, for some reason, just the placement of the word "hurt" made that sentence all the more heartbreaking. You've set the atmosphere to be wonderfully oppressive, and the transition of Itachi's madness.

You're an amazing, amazing writer. That's all I can say.

Hmm. A very interesting fic. Is this what would have happened if Itachi had been weaker, and given in to his emotions, and if Sasuke had broken beforehand? An interesting idea, certainly, and well-written to boot. Please update soon; I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! Though it would be really interesting if you started from exactly where this chapter left off... I love your story!

Wow... this is... amazing. Throughout the entire thing I kept thinking to myself, "oh. I can relate to that, I know how that is" but really I dont (thank god) Ive never been in a situation even remotely similar. You just describe everything so vividly, so perfectly and it all makes so much sense, the way Sasuke reacts to things. And I love the way that you characterized Itachi. Its as though everything is still cannon, but it isnt >.< I mean... umm, like the part when he asked Sasuke Are you going to kill me? And then seemed dissapointed when Sasuke said No, that is SO Itachilike X3 And the part about Sasuke being in school and the way he felt towards the kids around him, what was there before is still the same, yet intensified so many times by this alternate reality. So basicly... much love

I can't think of a way to describe what I just read. I feel a mixture of utter disgust and at the same time complete and total admiration of the author. I rarely read Itachi and Sasuke fanfiction unless I'm in need of a good laugh as I've never seen it done well or so appropriately as this. I was afraid to begin reading because of the rating, esspecially after I realized the time frame of the story and once I began reading, the present tense started to bug me. As I read on, the simplistic, honest descriptions of what was happening just lured me in. I was constantly on the verge of tears while reading this story and wanting to just put it away and never look at it again. I was, and still am, disgusted by the accurate and amazingly realistic portrayal of Sasuke's mixture of emotions as a child in this situation and Itachi's sick apathy. I thought it dragged on, in a good way, but then just sort of cut off..The story needed an end and I thought this was an interesting and rather satisfying/happy way to do so, it just didn't seem to fit. I honestly don't think any definite end would fit this story, leaving it more open ended and bitter would be a horrible way to end such a cruel and sickening story, but it probably would have worked best. I still have mixed feelings about what I just read, but I have to recommend this story to any person mature enough to handle it. This is by far the best display of talent I've ever seen in the fanfiction field..My review cannot even begin to describe the horror and utter shock at both the story itself and, again, the amazing ability of the author.

I wanna read next part. I'm curious about what will happen after Itachi's dead. What's clan going to think about Sasuke? Are they going to discover what Itachi did to him? (They shoul, it's obviously strange that he died in his brothers bed, that this brother was the one who killed him, and after closer examination that he got semen on himself).
