Both original and intense...

I really liked your take on Vergil, both in past and in his more recent present. The part with Eva was very emotional, and although we did not see Eva's death, Vergil's pain made it more than clear. A great way to do it...conveying events through characterization, and it was so sad. Not one part of this piece was boring, it was all intense, every word, and I really loved it :) Beautifully written...

wow wow wow.
what a wonderful story. it really explains why vergil is the way he is now. such trauma can really change a persons view and opinion of life.
i especially love the last line of the story. so sad yet so very true for vergil. he really doesn't have anyone to return to. although i think if he somehow would find his way back from hell and wanted to change dante would do his best to help him.
i think deep down in their hearts both only want to get back what they once had together with their mother. hopefully both will realise that they could have a piece of the past back if they would just put their pride and arrogance to the side and just be honest with each other instead.
hope to read more dmc story from you especially from vergils point of view.

What a sad fic... The very last line... Where you mention that he will have no one to share his triumph with just rang so true to Virgil. He is really an interesting character, and I think this was a very appropriate fic... I think you should definitly write more DMC fanfiction! Best of luck!
