Still, all done now :) Stubborn is a characteristic I very much associate with Lindsay and you've really caught that in this chapter. You use canon to illustrate the characteristic to excellent effect - this time the 'mermaid' case and her going undercover. I love that you have Lindsay going to see Danny after she visited the killer - I can see that she would need to talk to someone and that Danny would be that someone. As for this QUOTE: She'd looked at Stella and Flack with imploring eyes and steely resolve. She'd gazed at him with eyes begging him to understand, which then softened to a silent promise that he hoped to God she’d keep. /QUOTE Really lovely. Another great chapter!

notesofwimsey 2007-05-20 ch 7,	abuseWell, you already know what I think about this story, so I won't bore you with saying again how much I like the concept and admire the writing and love the sense of Danny's voice throughout and can't wait for the next update. I mean, you don't want to hear any of that again, do you? ;-) Loved this line because it sums up Lindsay so well: "that caused her head to tip back ever so slightly, giving her a fraction more height literally, and a mountain of height metaphorically." In the grand scheme of things, are exams really that important? Good luck anyway!
Kaoli water goddess 2007-05-20 ch 7,	abuseThis was a good chapter and a good characteristic to go on about. I think that every CSI in that lab has that trait, even Danny and he knows it. Yet he admires Lindsay for hers simply because she's the only one who can scare him. Good job; I can't wait for the next chapter.

He bumped her in this chapter not the last one hides Repeating myself I know but the 'coffee' scene was excellent - loved it Understand about the work (really, I do!) but dont leave it too long to update (say's the biggest she who hasn't updated in ages - oops). This is such a good fic and I'm really looking forward to you staring Danny from Lindsay's perspective.
