After getting me all caught up in the story, you just leave it at that? And judging by the publish date this is an abandoned story...not cool. :/

I still enjoyed it, though. You built a nice little world through Dani's perspective, and there's some great imagery there too. The sad little smashed cupcake was just perfect. If you ever pick this up again I'd love to see where you'd take it.
