no, really. the original ending was so depressing after volume 18 that i cried my eyes out. but this is perfect. perfect. i like that you gave such atention to yue lung and sing, they are my favorite after ash and eiji.

I was searching a long time for a Banana Fish story like that, and I'm happy to finally found it.
Don't wonder at my bad English. It's not my native language. Unfortunately, in Germany only the first seven books of Banana Fish were puplished. This manga never became very... famous. Because of that I had to import the last books from America. (My Japanese is much worse than my English.) Almost nobody wrote fanfictions to Banana Fish in German, and I'm not holding out any hope that someone will ever do. That's the reason why I decided to go to .
I like your story very much. It's unusual for me not to except such a wonderful but still sad ending like Akimi Yoshida used for Banana Fish. I just wanted to read something more happy and encouraging, if you understand what I mean. You showed me a possibility I already imagined and I'm glad about reading this.

Thank you so much for this beautiful Banana Fish ending. I just recently finished the 19th volume, and was feeling almost as depressed as Eiji. This story was so deep and well-written that I think it should have gone this way instead in the manga. I have half a mind to print this out and paste it in the back of the 19th volume. Thanks again for giving me closure for one of my favorite series.

Wow, I'm really impressed with this fic! and yay for Banana Fish! This is a great alternate ending for the series, for all us fangirls who wish the series did not end the way it did. Personally, I think the original ending of the series makes infinite sense and is very realistic, but your fic is well written, too. Unfortunately I feel it's also an ending that only makes sense as fanficton. Great job on capturing the personalities of the characters.

Wow. I am hating how tiny the Banana Fish base is - this deserves so much more than sixteen reviews. It is the best multi-chaptered BF fic I've ever read. Your characterizations are fantastic, and the plot drew me in like nothing else. I love how they kept missing each other, and the part with Yut-Lung was terrific. The depth of emotion you imparted in this is magnificent. This truly is excellent work.

That was amazing. It has taken me months to work my way through but I did it and it was worth every second. Congratulations on completing your story and making it such a fantastic read.
