Twelvemillion 2008-04-27 ch 19, anon.	abuseThank you so much for this beautiful Banana Fish ending. I just recently finished the 19th volume, and was feeling almost as depressed as Eiji. This story was so deep and well-written that I think it should have gone this way instead in the manga. I have half a mind to print this out and paste it in the back of the 19th volume. Thanks again for giving me closure for one of my favorite series.

This is a great alternate ending for the series, for all us fangirls who wish the series did not end the way it did. Personally, I think the original ending of the series makes infinite sense and is very realistic, but your fic is well written, too. Unfortunately I feel it's also an ending that only makes sense as fanficton. Great job on capturing the personalities of the characters. Noo! the hair is gone! (laughs jokingly)

Your characterizations are fantastic, and the plot drew me in like nothing else. I love how they kept missing each other, and the part with Yut-Lung was terrific. The depth of emotion you imparted in this is magnificent. This truly is excellent work.

Surely somewhere, in some alternate universe, this is the way things really happened. I really enjoyed reading this story and I think you tied it up perfectly. Glad that someone's continuing the story, and doing it so well. I was in desperate need of an alternate ending! I can't wait to read more!
